"Fifteen year-old Lily shape-shifts into a boy to get the girl.
Chaos ensues from pretending to be someone's she's not.
While coming to terms with who she really is and what she's done. Lily learns that life as a boy is just as difficult."

That is what appears on the back cover of this 118-page graphic novel.

While written to address issues pertinent to the GLBTQ community, "Flutter" is also about being restless, confused teens.

There is also a background story that is part science fiction and part intrigue.

This book should be read at least twice to get a solid idea of just exactly what is happening.

Creator Jennie Wood has this to say on the book's first page:

"Flutter is dedicated to anyone who has ever felt uncomfortable in his or her own skin."

Get a copy of this. You won't regret it.
