Jane and Jacquie

This short issue is enough to whet the appetite of every indie-loving reader out there.

It revolves around Jane, a woman in an abusive relationship who eventually winds up on the street.

She's taken in by Jacquie and finds some happiness.

Then something happens at the end and the reader is left to guess what.

It is interesting to note that the writer is a man but is convincing writing in a woman's voice.

The artwork, which mostly looks like sketches, works well with the book.

The creators have done a fine job of bringing the reader into the story, insinuating the narrative into the mind.

These guys are off to a great start!
